Springtime is always a miracle. The bravery of the daffodils as they poke their heads from the cold ground and withstand the chilly night air. The resilience of the tulip’s necks in the wind, which can sway easily but, once cut and brought inside, wilt quickly. These bulbs, buried in the earth, withstand the heat and drought of the summer and the cold of the winter and come up year after year to please us with their beauty. Where we think there is nothing, these joys surprise us.
God’s creativity at work.
How can we ingest the miracle of springtime and be inspired by the creativity of the season? There are unrealized gifts in each of us waiting to be unearthed and shared. Do we dare invite others to see what we’ve been longing to reveal?
Like the delicate flowers, we risk something when we share ourselves with others. But this is what brings life to us and to those around us.
You are a gift! The world is waiting for you!
